Getting started
How do I buy a painting?
Once you enter a specific item in the gallery you will find ask for price button. When pressed it will trigger a form which needs to be filled-in accordingly. When I receive your data I’ll get back to you as soon as possible with shipping costs. Then you decide if we finalize the transaction or not.
Can I make a purchase by phone?
All purchases are handled via the purchase form on item’s page.
Should I be worried I do not see any messages from you?
Please check your SPAM folder. E-mail providers tend to have different levels of sensitivity when filtering e-mails. I’ll resend a message or make a new one if necessary.
Payments
What paying methods are available?
At this moment only PayPal payments are accepted.
Are payments secure?
During the payment process I do not have access to any sensitive data of yours. All site-to-site connections are handled via secure protocol (https). All PayPal transaction are protected by PayPal Buyers Protection program.
Can I pay for the item on arrival?
Only upfront payments are possible.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs may differ depending on parcel size, destination, insurance and priority. First I need to collect essential information from you to calculate shipping, then I’ll be able inform you about the final cost.
Can you ship to (...)?
I ship within borders of continental United States. Shipping abroad or overseas may be possible, however it takes more time and money to ship the item to such locations.
Can I pick up the item myself?
All sales are handled by parcel delivery services.
Do I get a tracking number?
All shipped items come with a tracking number.
How long before you ship the item?
I’ll do my best to send the item within next 3 business days after receiving the payment.
When will my order arrive?
All my paintings are sent via UPS or FedEx, which usually takes about 2-5 business days to arrive within US mainland destinations.
Are your paintings secured for transportation?
My all paintings are professionally packaged with paper sheets and wrapped in bubble wrap. The paintings are then placed inside a single or double-wall corrugated box for extra security. „FRAGILE” stickers are placed on the box.
Returns
The painting arrived damaged. What now?
You need to check the parcel when it arrives. If the packaging has dents or punctures you need to contact the parcel delivery service and file a complaint. You can rest assured I do my best to secure the parcel as best as I can.
I didn't like the painting. Can I return it?
All purchases are final.
Other
Are your paintings hard to hang?
All my paintings are ready to hang. No extra framing needed unless preferred.
Can you paint me a work that is already sold?
All my works are original and unique. Every painting is made only once and when it’s sold it’s gone forever and belongs to its owner.
Can you paint me a portrait or reproduction?
I do not do portraits or other specific topics, e.g. still life. I do not copy other people’s work, even if the image is public domain.
Why do images look different on other devices?
There are many different types of displays. Each one of them comes from a different manufacturer and is assembled in its own manner, depending on technology used. What is more, each display might be configured differently and has its own wear. Because of this no device is the same and thus the colors might be slightly off.
Why do the colors look different from what I expected?
The painting may look differently depending on what type of lighting source you use (e.g., warm, cold) and how much natural daylight reaches the room where the painting is located. I do my best to deliver pictures of my paintings as faithful to the real-life experience as possible.
